What We Do

  • Da'wah - Islamic propagation

Da'wah Zimbabwe carries out outreach programmes according to the Qur'aan and Sunnah to different parts of the country. Our aim is to remind the Muslims of our duties towards Allah (God), other fellow Muslims and humanity in general. We also try to reach out to non-Muslims so that they can appreciate the goodness or Islaam, and that it is not for a particular nation, tribe or family but a gift to all mankind.

  • Publications

We translate Islamic literature into local languages for the benefit of the community. Examples of some of the books we have published include "Ukholo Lwesi Islam" and "A Guide for Teachers and Duaat." Other books you will find on this website include Islamic Creed, The Masjid, Avoiding Sins, Swalaah Description and many more.

  • Education

Islaam is a religion of knowledge. One cannot comprehend and practice it well without knowledge. Therefore, during our outreach programmes, we encourage the Muslims to learn Islam and all beneficial sciences such as Mathematics, Science, Geography, Agriculture, Medicine, etc. Members too are involved in Education at different Islamic schools as teachers and so on. Once in a while, resources permitting, we carry out refresher courses for Muslim teachers and outreach officers.

  • Legal Advice - Iftaa

Not all Muslims fully comprehend Islam well. Therefore, once in a while they have questions on various issues including new development in Science and Technology regarding their status in Islam, and as scholars, we respond to those questions according to the Qur'an and Sunnah. During our outreach programmes too, we have Q & A sessions wherein we respond to questions and various matters affecting the community.
